Try Panda Software Anti Virus programs. They are not
expensive and they are very good.

There are many in these Newsgroups that will recommend
AVG, also free.
If you want to pay for one, I understand eTrust EZ Armor
may be the
best out there; it's probably still free for the first
year, however
they charge $10 per year for the definitions, thereafter.
