that you were using VPC. THAT will usually work on new hardware to run

No, it isn't, Gary.....it's a friend's but you're right.
It's that same problem, and I guess I ought to "bind it
as a reminder between my eyes". BTW, I guess that also
applies to ME, which has to have the 98 running, to upgrade
from, right?
