which would imply that the 'User Manual' *should* give (comprehensive?)
instructions on how to connect the 'communication cable' and set-up the
'Multilink software.'

The manual is 14 pages long, but no mention of the software. I think I
will just try and sell it on and keep the Belkin


I've generally found Scan quite helpful, but then I only live a few miles
away and I usually buy from their counter g However, I would still think
that the manufacturer may be the one you need to talk to.

I think I will thanks. I've looked at "your submissions" and scan have
just chosen to discard my question without even replying. Nice one
