I've got to try and lay down the law and get my line gain upgraded, my
service is for up to 8 MB but my line is only capable of 2 MB and I'm
getting no where near that, I don't understand the results of these speed
tests but I've been told I should get faster speed for my ADSL than I get.

Don't bet on it! try resetting the router - then do an online speed test,
and at the same time, check the various readings on dB, etc....
chances are that you are too far from the exchange to get more than 2Mb/s -
which equates to ~250KB/s. You have to be within about 1 Km of the exchange
to get much more than that.


Anyway going to go and catch up, I'm a moderator and administrator on a
site now so got to catch up g
