Default NEW - Adaware Defs

I know the feeling Figgs, I've tried stopping about 10 times now. The most I
stopped for was 5 weeks and I was confident that I had stopped. Did it on the
NHS and they do a test every week at the doctors so you can't lie to them.
Then unfortunately I broke up with my girlfriend and it all went pear shaped
from there. Although, I only smoke 10 at most per day. (Unless I go out for a
drink)

I really hate the adverts on TV.... There's a women who can hardly breath,
totally chair bound, on oxygen and struggling to get out a sentence about
what smoking did to her. I have to switch it over, it's really bad and if it
happens to me... I only have myself to blame.

Craig.

Thank youk, Canna......perhaps we can get Noel to follow it for just
this one day.....then two and so on (G). Can't remember when ours was,
but the advertising on TV to quit smoking is increasing at a major rate.
I think that plays a subconscious role as well.

I could give you 50 small reasons why I decided to quit......there was
no one big one. It only took (mumble) years to come together in my
head, lol.

Cheers...Figgs

National non smoking day tomorrow (8th Mar) in the UK

Don't think I'll be taking part, but maybe next year... ;^ )

Probably won't be able to smoke anywhere by then anyway.... especially
in
pubs ;^ (

You DO like living dangerously, young man!! 8-))

Or is it just that we mere females have managed to kick the habit and
you are jealous....lol.

Think of the money you would save if you quit. I just bought us a
new
wide screen, flat panel 26" Toshiba TV with my ciggie money
($10/day).
I still have to *not smoke* for another month to totally pay for
it....but is it ever lovely!! Ron is totally glued to it, lol. I
must
hook up the new DVD player that Elayne gave us and then he will never
leave the couch!! (VBG)

I guess it helped a lot when I got this influenza/virus/flu/whatever
bug
about a week ago....bloody sick, I will tell you. Didn't even need
the
patch. But as I am part of a study, will continue with it. Just 10
more days to go.

Cheers....the clean-living, non-smoking, DVD-fixing blonde!!

I could get to resent you two - OTOH, I could just put it down to
the
post-ciggy grouchies..... or even 'female problems'.....
