Might not matter, but to get to the e:\ drive, just type e: ,at the C:\ prompt
and press Enter.
Ex: C:\e: and press Enter.
Then at the E:\ prompt , you can type dir /p to see what directories are in
there, if any.(Ex: E:\dir /p)
What you did was try to cd (change directory) to a directory called e:\, which
does not exist because it is a drive, not a directory.
