Default Networking Card 3Com "3C905B-TX": File "el90xbc5.sys" not fou

I tried wgat you suggested and copied the 3 files to system32/drivers and
then started the driver again. It asekd for some more files and the three
named one to copy them to Options/cabs-Folder. After that, the message
"NTKERN ......" was still there, and I tried to reinstall the driver one
more. Now it does not ask for more files anymore, it seems to reinstall the
driver at windows../inf successfully, but the error and message "NTKERN..."
does not disappear.

But only for USB-Driver, the 2 other errors (keyboard, USB processor)
disappeared after copying the demanded files to the cab-folder.
I tried to start the PC in the safe mode, like described in 265371, but
without success, there is no sign, if the computer has completed the Power On
Self Test.-

The path to use is CD-ROM\Win9x and not Win9x\Base2.CAB.

Try what I previously suggested. When the installer asks for the various
files point the installer at the folder containing the cab files rather
than trying to extract them yourself. If however you want to extract them
yourself, do so however the easiest way to do so is probably being to
double click on the cab file in Windows Explorer to open it, select the
files you require and then drag copies to the required location.
Initially perhaps to the desktop and when you have extracted new copies of
all the files you need, move them to their correct locations. For the
files you mention you should be able to do this whilst Win Me is running
and not need to boot to DOS using a floppy.

.Thank you, now I restored the system and the networking card seems
to be installed correctly. But now the USB does not fonction anymore
with the notice: The NTKERN.VxD device loaders for this device could
not load the device driver (Code 2). I found the Article 299264 on
the MS site and followed the steps, creating Start Up disk and so on.
But the extracting of the Uhdc.sys etc. files does not work, there is
the error that the Files are not found on the Millenium CD (Null).
I named the Path CD-ROM:/Win9x/BASE2.cab, that is the path, where I
found the files on the CD-ROM. but it does not work with
CD-ROM:/Win9x either. I wrote the files down inthat way: Uhcd.sys
Usbhub.sys Usbd.sys, or must they be separated with an semikolon?

Thank you in advance
