I know I read it on here in the past. There is a universal program
(driver), that makes most items that plug into a USB slot work in
Win98. I recember it has a weird name, but cant recall what its called.
Can someone please tell me the file name or URL for it.

I'm curious if this program will allow the use of some of my newer
external hard druives? Most of them say right on their package
"requires XP or higher", although most do work on Win2000. But I need
better support with flash drives. It's weird that none of my 1gb flash
drives will work on Win98, but an 8gb PNY brand, does work. But I have
two other PNY brand 8gb drives that dont work.
