Default May be an academic question, but...

I have a new 250 gig drive. Can I just go ahead and install Windows ME on it
or do I have to use the disk manager overlay on the drive? I ask this
because I have tried 3 times to install ME and after ME goes thru the
install and copies all the files to the disk and reboots, that's as far as
the install goes. I can't boot to the ME environment. My motherboard
supports large disks and USB 2.0, and has all the bells and whistles. Am I
missing something very basic?

I have a specific reason for wanting ME (along with XP for dual booting
purposes) on this disk.
