Is there a way to run a program in a DOS window under Win98 and have
the CTMouse (CuteMouse) driver installed? CTMouse 2.0 supports the
wheel in DOS mode. When I try to load it in a DOS window, it says
"device not found".I think this message may be due to the fact that the PS2 port is

"owned" by the Windows mouse driver.

I have a PS/2 Logitech mouse. The driver loads and
works in DOS boot mode.

OR is there any other way to get wheel support in a DOS program running
in a window or full screen over windows?Have you tried loading the DOS CTMouse driver from your config.sys or

autoexec.bat before Windows starts?

Yes, and also on the .BAT properties for the DOS window and other
places, to no avail.

Is it as simple as "no DOS (real mode) driver can run in DOS over
windows"
would that be true?

Thanks,
