Grrrrrr.

Okay, progress of sorts. I managed to find where the check boxes are,
for Resource Monitor, and checked it for installation, and then I
couldn't find a way to get it to install. It put a C:\ something in
the window; that didn't work. I tried my ME upgrade CD, gave it F:\
and let it browse, but it couldn't find it to install. Next visit
over to the ME HD I'll make sure the modem is out of the way. And I'll
try he check/uncheck/apply etcetera. I'll do the modem uninstall as
I wait for advice on how to get Resource Monitor to 'take'.
As for Norton System Works, be assured that it is not on the ME
hard drive anyplace, and I don't go online on that ME system. Modem
is 56K and only for FAXing out. But I use Norton from my Master XP
system to scan all drives for viruses. Tell me when you can, and thanks
for your patience.
