Guy98 & All "Virtual Win98?

Good to hear from you........................................

You mean run win-98 as a virtual machine, being emulated on a system
running XP or some other NT-based OS?

True

In order to do that, I would have to be comfortable with the idea that
the "host" OS is NT-based,

True

and I would essentially become a slave to the
wants and needs of the host OS

True

just for the sake of being able to run
win-98 in a handicapped,

The handicapped is you can't update IE or OE
Because Microsoft kill update Links
In the software of IE6 Sp1

crippled mode as a virtual machine, with
limited graphics, video, USB and sound capability.

No limits on Hardware as for graphics,
video
USB and sound capability
Able have more capability on always above

There is no point running win-98 as a virtual machine if you want to use
win-98 as your primary OS.

They do not make a virtual machine Windows 98
Have to be on a 2000 Sp4 and Up

If the underlying hardware has full win-98 driver support, then you run
win-98 as your primary or only OS.

Just thank virtual machine on
Windows 2000 Sp4
With a
Virtual XP Sp3
