Another way of getting USB access on w98 (any) is by installing
Iomega's zipdrive software, even if you don't have/use this hardware.
Strangely (...), this installation software is able to force usb
support on most win systems (98, nt4, me, 2k). When I 'upgrade' an
older system, this package is on my tools cd.
