Default Keyboard has gone haywire - Help!

Any file in the System Restore archive whether Win Me, XP or Vista is
benign, that is inactive, UNTIL or UNLESS you subsequently restore the
system to a checkpoint where that file was present. Clearing the SR
archive after cleaning malware is certainly sensible but the malware, be
it keylogger or some other nasty, isn't operative whilst in the archive.

I just corrected a similar problem with my keyboard having a mind of
it's own. It seems i had a "Trojan Horse" virus in my "System
Restore". My anti-virus caught the (2) infections while scanning with
the "Windows" Malicious Software scan" (which by itself did not find
anything but my own anti virus software did during the scan). I sent
the infections to the vault then deleted them. I then deleted all the
system restore points in my PC and set a new restore point.
My keyboard works fine now.
Hope this helps!!
PS : My operating system is XP and my keyboard is wireless.
