Default SHDOCVW.DLL

It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be to replace the SHDOCVW.DLL file,
however I finally was able to do this from the command prompt. I'm sorry to
say that didn't fix it. I tried to do a system restore but it failed "unable
to restore your computer..."

I've started getting this error on almost every program I try to open
"program" has caused an error in SHDOCVW.DLL'
Program will now close.
I have recently removed a few programs in the Add/Remove section, could
this
be the problem?

Possibly and if Mart and Mike's suggestions did not solve your situation,
here you can download the dll-file for free:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?shdocvw

But don't venture into scanning or fixing anything, as being offered.
That might bring you more trouble instead.
Best of luck,

Harry.
