Default Installing WinXP on a disk partition

When I did it I just put in the XP CD and directed it to install to the
drive I had made for it. After that, at boot ,you should get a window asking
what OS you want to boot to.
A Pent.2 CPU would indicate an older MB. It may not work with XP.
An 8gig HD is a little small for a dual boot system. But it should work. I
would be worried about the older MB not being compatable with XP.
There is a compatability test on the XP CD. You may want to run that first.
If it works.
Good Luck. Hope this helps?

Could someone help me with the sequence for installing WinXP prof.
I am running a Pentium 2 350MHz With WIn98. 8.2GB hard drive.
I would like to keep Win98 and all of the programmes I run on it.
I have so far created a second primary partition of 4GB using Acronis
Partition Expert. No problem so far.
Now, how do I go about installing WinXP Professional on this new
partition and be able to choose on boot-up which systen to boot into.

Thanks in advance
