I am using Windows ME and having the following problems with netstat /
command.com.

When I run netstat it just runs real quick and disappears, not
allowing me time to see what it displays. I have tried running
command.com and changing the directory to the C:\Windows\System folder
where Netstat is at. When I run command.com and then run netstat, I
get this:

For starters, It shouldn't be in the System directory, but one up in
C:\WINDOWS.
C:\Windows\Systemnetstat
The interface initialization has failed: 2

Can anyone help me me with this? I haven't been able to find anything
in the knowledge database concerning interface initialization, let
alone failures dealing with such. I haven't seen anything with
netstat that has helped with this. I haven't even managed to find
much helpful info when I search for troubleshooting netstat. If
anyone has any knowledgebase search ideas or tips on fixing this,
please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

That being said, it should still run from just about wherever you strt it
from: desktop, windows, sytem, etc. It is one of those things in Windows
code that shoud work pretty much no matter what.

Check that PATH is checked under the Environment tab in MSCONFIG and that
the path listed is correct.
