Default SPRDSHEET QUESTION

Hi Noel, I'm not sure if that's THE answer. My understanding was that the OP
wanted to return to columnA, next row down.

The 'Down' option in Excel not only allows:
start in A1, tab (along) several cells and press return. Reverts to A2

but also e.g. start in D4, tab (along) several cells and press return.
Reverts to D5

The 'Up' has a 'similar'(ish) property, whereas Left and Right just move
left and right.

But Works has an option to switch the Return option on or off and when it's
on, it just moves down to the next cell. When it's off, it does nothing.

Don't know if there is any way of changing that behaviour.

It's supposed to go to Column B. Then if you enter info
for column B it
goes to Column C... etc. it's called "data entry".

Unless you mean you enter the stuff for column A and the
stuff gets
written to column B... now that's wrong.

Thank you -
I would like to enter data into column "B", and click on
the "return" key and return to column "A" for another row
of entries. But my return key does not return to the
first part of the spreadsheet but goes down one row
instead of the first column.
