In a last act of desperation and given that you apparently have never
managed to install the rt73* driver files needed by the device I've zipped
up the three files involved and sent them to you by e-mail. Try unzipping
these and placing in a folder on the Win Me desktop and then see if you can
update/install the driver using Dev. Manager by selecting the unknown
device, choosing update driver and pointing the wizard at the folder on the
desktop.
