Default Legacy Updates for Me

The only CD with updates that ever existed was the Security CD released in
2004 (for Win98Se/ME/XP)
You may have had a copy ?
Windows Updates is still working fro ME - and has all of the security
updates and a few others (but not the Movie Maker update).
If you can get the machine back onto the internet, it's not that painful a
process to reinstall all of them - certainly not as bad as it would be for
XP!
Presumably your 'old lady' has some form of Internet connection?
What about AV? - you need to UNINSTALL any AV that comes preinstalled as
soon as the refresh is done, then install one of the (few) free AV's that
still work on ME.... (Avast is the only one that comes to mind - and that
one ceases fairly soon!). It does sound as if she's been running around with
her knickers around her ankles
A firewall would be a good thing as well - although if she's behind a NAT
router, then she could get away without one.

Hi all
When I bought the Vista, I gave me old WIN Me to an old lady. It worked
for
quite some time but now she got infected bad. Wondered to use F11
(factory
setup), but wonder if anyone knows where I can get a CD with all the
updates,
if that exists??
