So clicking on the .htm got the body, but no images. Is this possible,
or am I mis remembering?

In Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer; I just mean what you get
when you use Windows-key plus E, or "Explore" from various places), can
you still _see_ the _folders_?

I'm wondering if you have somehow just turned off images in your
browser. (Though how you would do this accidentally I'm not sure - but
maybe something else did it for you.)

Just remembered, no sufolders containing any images show up using
Windows Explorer.]

Hi,,

Unless you shredded the files with a shredder, they will be on your
computer somewhere; have you tried the recycle bin yet?

Secondly, using what you use to 'view' pictures is very lame; get
IrfanView or AcDsee; both of these also have many many features and
abilities for editing etc. (get the old versions of both..
www.oldversion.com )

Lastly, have you done a Search of your computer yet to see if you can
locate the folder(s)? or even just search for a few .jpg's. In fact,
if you know the date that you lost them, then while in Search, use the
Advanced button to pinpoint your lost images down to the day,, or even
the week.
