No Windows expert recommends reformatting
the driive (and reinstalling OS and all apps) every month.
Find a web source trusted by many users e.g.
http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/how_to.html
and then clean up your system. I think Mr.Badour
says somewhere you need to reinstal less often
than once a year.
