Default install wireless adapter

Some machines have the necessary files tucked away on the hard disk. Try
looking for a folder like C:\I386 or C:\Windows98 or whatever. Otherwise
you'll probably need to buy a CD on EBay, or borrow one.

If I remember correctly you'll need a series of CAB files with names
beginning "net..." and I think you may need nos 7 to 10. If you do a
"Find..." for *.cab you may get lucky.

I am trying to install a wireless network adapter in my windows 98
computer.
It appears that some files are needed from the windows 98 cd. My computer
came with windows installed and no cd. It did come with a restore cd but
that
appearently does not have the required files on it.
Is there any way to install the adapter without the cd
