NO MOUSE DETECTED
Are the keyboard and mouse connectors default serial connections on the PC?
If not, get the proper type. For instance, PS/2 or USB. The old style
keyboard connector was serial in nature, but not a standard serial connector
(like com1 or com2).

The problem is at startup, the following error message is
displayed: Windows did not detect a mouse attached to the
computer......... The cursor sits in the middle of the
screen. The keyboard does not respond either. I got a new
mouse and keyboard (serial), same message. I can't get
into anything to see if something is missing. It's my
girls computer and Internet withdrawl is setting in. Any
help is appreciated.
