Default I'm deaf!

There is no "standard" driver since these is no standard audio chip. Did
you follow Delboy's advice? If not why not? If yes, with what effect?
Is the audio chip yellow banged in the Device Manager? You will find it
in the section "sound, video and game controllers".

I would assume that it would/should be in the Windows installation CD

Not necessarily. It rather depends on the audio chip on your motherboard
or add-on card. It is quite possible that you will need to download and
install the latest Win me compatible driver from the manufacturer's web
site.

Thanks, Delboy. The driver I'm looking for is the standard (if there
is such a thing) Windows driver that comes with Windows Me for the
speakers! I'm going through all the directories with ANY *.inf files
in them to see if the installation program likes ANYTHING.

Does anyone know the name of the driver? I would assume that it
would/should be in the Windows installation CD, and knowing the name
would certainly cut down on my search time.
