John, if your burner still reads, writes and erases previously formatted
Disks, then try a different Brand. It could be that as the burner gets older
it has a harder time working with cheaper disks.

Hello & thanks for reading,

Using Windows ME, a "Pine" 24X10X40 burner, Nero InCD v3.5.24.0.

I've been using these for years with no problems. It's something I must

have
done. Here's the deal: Any unformatted CD-RW disks I insert, I cannot

format
using InCD. These are disks that used to work and are from the same batch
that worked earlier. They are "Staples" 74 min/650MB/1x - 4x, they used to
work fine in my system. The burner, and InCD, can access and use (i.e.

read
from, write to, erase) previously formatted CD-RW's. When I insert an

unused
CD-R/W disk, I receive one or the other of these InCD error codes:
"0051-0003-0064-00c0" or "0051-0005-0072-0003". The message accompanying
these goes something like "disk error occurred, media may be damaged,
restart computer and try again". I have tried again and have tried more,
unformatted disks with no success. I've searched "Google" and "User

Groups".
Nothing. I apologize if this is off topic, but this is a very

knowledgeable
and helpful group. What am I missing or where should I be looking? The

Ahead
Web Page is no help.

Thanks in advance!
