Default winsock initialization failed

Oh, wasn't that an old ID game [like Doom]... yeah, so it should have a game
config file...

| was called "dial-up adaptor". I got rid of it because a) I don't
| think I have any dial-up adaptor and b) I don't want to connect to any
| network or the internet.
