for the R553DS, not the Recovery CD nor any of the software drivers. They
understand my situation, but say there's nothing they can do.

I've done driver searches many times before for other situations, but coming
up dry on this one ... plus, I can't tell what some of the hardware cards
(no markings) and there's no way of identifying the onboard hardware (e.g.
audio).

Bottom line: I need to acquire a copy of the System Recovery CD for a Sony
VAIO PCV-R553DS. I've Googled till I'm blue in the face, but am striking
out. Does anybody have one or can point me to someplace that might have
one?
