Lil Dave, I mean that it is set in the BIOS to boot from CD-ROM only and its
trying to, doing the whole "press any key from CD-ROM" but when you do, it
says boot failure, and some other stuff. So...

I looked at pins, and for gunk in either connection
would not start in safe mode.....
there is a screen that comes up (ms dos screen?) when the puter is booting up
as it is booting up...

Calendar Error

Thank you for reponding to my post.

It was Works Calendar causing my grief. simply unistalles all of works
including calendar as not needed and all is well.

It's not associated with Outlook because Office is not installed, but rather
the time and date setting for Windows itself. Error comes up if one enters
time and date setting via the clock in System...
