Boot Sector
No, you don't need the boot sector of the Windows 98 CD to do this. Any of
the major CD burning programs will take a floppy diskette as a guide and
produce a bootable CD as a result.

Booting From Two Hard Drives
You really, REALLY need a copy of Norton Ghost or Image from Terabyte

a Tech Question
CMOS is used to store your computer's configuration data because it can
change. If you add more memory, a new drive, a new video card, etc. CMOS

Compatible flash drive
You probably won't find one. Windows 98 had very limited USB support,
Windows 98SE included much improved USB support.

Win 98 SE upgrade Win XP ?
I must respectfully disagree with Philo on his opinion on upgrades. An
upgrade from Windows 95/98/Me to Windows XP is a much different creature
than an upgrade BETWEEN Windows 95/98/Me.
When you...

New Laptop - dual boot XP Pro and Win98 SE?
I don't think you're going to get Windows 98 to run on that machine, Bill.
For one thing, do you know that you can get system and hardware drivers for
Windows 98 from either Systemax or Tiger...

The motherboard or SATA chipset manufacturer would have to release Windows
98 drivers for this to work, and I would consider this highly unlikely.

Nope, you need SATA drivers that support Windows 98.

Help about win98 compatibility
I doubt that Windows 98 is going to work on your new hardware. Unless the
motherboard manufacturer has Windows 98 drivers I'd bet it won't.
