Thanks for your help guys. First effort was repair, reset to default
settings, nothing changed AFAIK, rolled back to ie5 and reinstalled ie6
...... Now I can't even repair.

No joy Mike. Incidentally, msconfig wouldn't let me extract to the
windows\system location. Error messages saying "protected file" or similar.
Had to extract to a junk folder on c: ; boot to dos and...

Running WinME, fully updated, with AVG Free, ZoneAlarm Free (updated to last
version compatible with WinME), scanned with AdAware, Spybot and Stinger.

After much searching and emulating the Oozlum bird, I got a copy of Hutil
from Samsung. Will try it out.

Reverting to earlier version of Windows
Sooner or later the posts will be deleted from the server.
