Anybody experiencing problems at shutdown?
My optical mouse tends to gum up the shutdown process. I have to reboot then go
to Command Mode and shutdown from there about 80% of the time. IE6 also hangs
the computer when closing the final...

photo bucket locking up IE
Photobucket locked up and crashed my IE6 yesterday too. I did manage to get in
finally but the uploading photos page was impossibly slow to load. I blame
Photobucket. I'm sure it worked well a month...

Using large HDD on Win98
I'd make 2 or 3 Fat 32 partitions of 32 GB on XP, then make the remaining space
NTFS partitions. Win 98 won't see the NTFS space at all. But you mentioned that
you are using Win 98FE instead of SE;...

that will work on this old of a machine. I can't run my LCD monitor at 1280 x

Memory Question
I'm at 384, and my Internet Security programs are using too much RAM nowadays.
I'd go with 512 if I had a choice, but I don't so I won't.

3.29 GB (3,535,316,271 bytes), 3,615,477,760 bytes used
Contains 29,939 Files and 3,531 Folders
Win 98SE.
7.14 GB drive size for C:
838 MB free
Swap file is on a different partition: 972,800 KB

Ad-Aware SE freezes....
If you opened any windows over the AdAware scan, a poor videocard (8MB for
instance) may cause it to freeze up when you minimize the overlaid window. You'd
see the window where the AdAware scan was...
