Yes, I am trying to play a DVD movie. I have Windows Media Player 9.0 because

While trying to fix my DVD player with a CD that came with my laptop I wiped

Dell will not help me because the DVD player was added without buying it from
them and they say it is not listed as having a DVD player!

I have Windows 98, not SE and the updates. Doesn't that make it SE? I have an
actual DVD-ROM and Media Player 9. Will that work? What do I need to do?

No the DVD Player is not listed and Yes it does play CDs with Media Player.

Ben, you were close. "Go into the BIOS setup and see if there is a "Disable
multiple pointing devices" option. If so, select it. Be sure to save the

1. Touch Pad - PS/2 Mouse
2. Serial Mouse
3. PS/2 Mouse
I don't think any of these choices will allow me to disable the touch pad

The only mouse to disable is the one that I bought. The laptop mouse is not
even listed to be able to change.

Someone else made my site and I don't know how to do that. For those who
cannot read it all they have to do is click View, Text Size and then switch
to Medium or Higher.
