How to get a windows 98 starup disc???
You can make a floppy boot disk with the Fat32ebd.exe file located on the
W98 CD: tools/mtsutil/fat32ebd or you can download one he

installation error
Too much ram--cut back to 1 gb and then see if the following helps.
Here's some info on ram you might find helpful:
Over 512 mb or more of ram:

Where's drive D gone? Advice?
Glad you got it sorted. The reason all your space was not used initially
when you created the C: partition is due to one of two factors. You failed
to say yes to large drive support when running...

I'd recommend going to the HP web site and downloading any needed drivers
from there. Those Compaq restore CDs install a load of useless crap which
probably won't be totally removed through the...

More likely it means not many people are using W98 any longer. I have 98
loaded in VirtualPC for reference use only. I sometimes miss tinkering with
it but the stability of XP overcomes...
