mapped drive problem

I have a mapped drive on a 98 machine and the computer will lose connection
with the mapped drive so i will reboot the computer and it will work again.
This happens multiple times a day. Any ideas...

is there a program that lets me change the speed of the link on a 3com in

yes i have downloaded the drivers it is set dhcp. I have installed windows
2000 and when i booted up the computer i still got a 169.254 number i
