AHA--we did recently install a game from EA--sounds like that may be it.
I will check msconfig again as suggested.

Thank you for responding Don. I'm clueless the ins/outs of Windows.

No, this error message does not interfere with boot up or running programs
as far as I can tell.

I checked the start up tab...

Hey Ron, thanks for responding. No, I don't have up-to-date virus programs.
No, I don't see this file referenced in the msconfig.exe start-up tab. Is
this a bogus message? I'm still not sure...

On startup I'm getting an error: Missing file 'c:\autorunGUI.DLL'.
This file is located in c:\windows\temp. Do I need to move it somewhere else?
