Thanks Gary.
It was like it before I installed the app.
I tried defragging (it sure needed it - it took over 2 hours)
even though the HD is only half full..
That helped a bit, but WE still freezes...

I have just installed an app on a friend's Win98 laptop.
Whilst apps seem to run normally on the machine,
the Windows Explorer is incredibly slow, taking up
to a minute to become active again after...
