How do you setup Static IP address for Win98SE PC ?

I change the IP address to a static under TCP/IP settings, and set default
gateway at 192.168.0.1, but I still can't connect to Internet.

Yes I do, I found the Windows 98 drivers for the printer HP LJ3600dn.
Didn't come on the newer versions of the install CD, but found on Internet.
I tell Wizard where to find driver files and it is...

Now for some reason my Win98SE computer will only show icons in low colour,
with Printer and HDD sharing activated. Strange but I can live with it. :(

because I enabled printer sharing, but it couldn't communicate with it.

I can set up my printer to share over network and Vista laptop sees printer
on network but Vista won't connect. Do I have to declare this legacy print
