98SE IE 6 Problems from Desk Top Only
 

Hi, I am running 98SE and IE 6 with the sp1 and the latest patch. After I
connect to the internet and ckick on to a short cut from the desk top, or go
to favorites from the start up menu, what ever site I click on to, it takes
two to three miniutes for the site to come up from the desk top.
After the connection to website is made and I close it and try another short
cut it works fine.

The ony way I can get my favorites to come up in a timley matter, is after I
connect to the internet to not even try the short cuts, or favorites from the
desk top, but click on windows explorer where the directory is, and use the
favorites from the task bar on top, It connects exactly as it should.
