Errors such as you mention are usually the result of attempting to install
an application intended for use with Win2K or XP on a Win 9x system such
as Win Me or the reverse. Therefore check that the application you are
trying to install is the correct version for the operating system you are
using. Note that Windows Millennium is not the same operating system as
Windows 2000.
