my windows 98 only has 16 colors and doesn't work
 

please help. my husband messed with my computer and the
color is gone and windows doesn't work anymore. i need to
download windows 98 again, but i never got the disk with
my computer. can anyone help?

You need to set up your graphic card.

If you have any driver CD of the graphic card you use nearby, insert it
and select to install the drivers. After a reboot, you should be able to
set the colours back to normal in the Control Pannel.

The problem may be more elaborate in case the hardware in your computer
has changed, so you might want to use the hardware detection wizzard
from the Control Pannel first.
