slow printing
My printing has slowed down to a couple of lines every 3-4
minutes. HP says to delete all temp files except those that you must have. They refer you to Microsoft. but I can't find out which temp files should be retained. I know system.temp is one of them. |

First reboot the system - then delete the entire contents of the C:\Windows\TEMP folder - but not the folder itself Then do a Search for all files named *.TMP - delete them all Reboot again - go to Internet Properties, and use the Delete button on the front page to delete the TIF, and check the 'Delete offline content' box, click Apply, and wait - then reset the allocated space to around 40MB HTH -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "John Vaughan" wrote in message ...
