nothing opens up
 

I click on any icon - anywhere - and nothing happens. How do I fix
it??

Press and hold the Windows key on the keyboard while you press the E key, then
release both. That should open Windows Explorer. Navigate to the C:\Windows folder
and find Notepad.exe. Double-click it.....does Notepad open?

Try double-clicking. If you are already doing this, try right-clicking
and selecting an option.
