Internet speed
Hi there,
I have a question about running broadband on a windows 98 se PC Obviously the spec of my pc is not cutting edge, (processor speed etc) It came with windows 98 se back in 2000, but I run via ethernet /router a broadband connection. The advertised speed is 3 MbPS I get something like 500 kbPS . Out of interest which factors could be slowing done my pc ? Could it be my operating system ? or is it likely that my processor speed is the main culprit- Thanks in anticipation ps I presume my ISP is up to scratch ! |

If you know someone else using the same provider and ADSL ask them. I'm not
