Windows 98 Start up
I have a PC that runs Windows 98. My son has deleted some files (he doesn't
know which ones) and consequently now when the PC starts up it has an error message on screen "Invalid system disk - Replace the disk and then press any key". I've tried to reinstall Windows 98 but with no success. Would be grateful for any advice as to how to resolve this. Thanks - Ian |

This DOS message says system code cannot be found on whichever disk(s) BIOS has searched -- easily cured by booting DOS from a floppy then A\SYS C: I've tried to reinstall Windows 98 but with no success.
