That is what all the MVPs, save one or two, have been saying lately. I
installed EZ Armor in place of the Trend Micro Internet Security I'd been
using and was surprised at the number of alarms, not all of which were ISP
pings.

I thought that people would find it interesting that Spybot -- Search
and
Destroy and Adaware Plus (the one you pay for) received top marks from the
June issue of PCWORLD. The article did a good job in mentioning the lines
of defense that your PC needs in this day and age. I am surprised that
the
current recommendation is that even a computer with a dial-up connection
needs a firewall. I guess this shows that hackers are broadening their
