USB Ethernet Adapter/USB-RJ-45

Hi all!

I recently purchased the above from eBay. I have a very old Compaq Armada
7770DMT laptop that works perfectly and is running Win98SE quite happily.
According to the listing on eBay, the USB Ethernet Adapter should be found by
Win98SE and installed (apparently it should be found by all opertaing
platforms)? Below is the link to the same seller, selling more of the same
adapters that I purchased. On my laptop, Win98SE cannot find the drivers at
all and no driver disc came with the adapter. I was unaware that I needed a
driver disc as the listing inferred that no driver disc was required? Could
anyone help please with this matter as I am now getting a bit annoyed after
spending money for something that doesn't appear to be working? Maybe there
is a basic driver somewhere out there for it, if so, I can't find it? By
looking at the picture of the adapter, someone might be able to let me know
who the manufacturer is and where I could possibly get the drivers from as
there is no manufactrers name on the adapter. Many thanks in advance.
