Ie6 is not supported at this site to play movies
as the Flash Player reject it.

http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...y=Hindi+Movies

Is there anyway to overcome this or how can
these be played on normal DVD software like
as any cd can be played on this system.
An old version of flash player for ie6?

Any help appreciated.

Two choices...

1. Drop WinME !

2. Install a DIFFERENT Browser.

AAH,

Download Opera 10.5 from the link provided on the YouTube page. This will
install on Win Me. When you return to YouTube and try to play one of the
Hindi videos you may be prompted to download and install Flash Player.

I have "Aap Ki Khatir - full length bollywood movie with english subtitles"
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n-JjNUB7WA) playing here without problems
on Win Me having just installed Opera 10.5. Note that the current versions
of Firefox and Chrome cannot be installed on Win Me.

You (and most people running win-98 and ME) are lusers.

Not because of the OS, but because they still use IE6 as their primary
(or only) browser. IE6 is the worst possible browser that's in current
use, and those still using it are stupid fools who simply don't know (or
are too afraid) to change to firefox. You should have been using
firefox for at least the past 3 years.

IE6 is garbage and web designers have hated it for years and all
web-site owners and developers have wanted it to die for years, but
boobs like you keep using it.

You (AAH) are a particular luser, because you don't understand that all
you have to do is to close the youtube message box (the box that states
that your browser is unsupported) and then you can watch what-ever junk
you wanted to watch.

It's not that IE6 is incompatible with youtube. Only if you're running
Flash version 7 are you actually incompatible with youtube. Youtube is
simply being an ass by bothering people running firefox 2 or IE6. It's
a completely unnecessary warning message. Why they do it is a mystery.

Is there anyway to overcome this

Yes. Close the "your browser is incompatible" message and watch the
junk video.

And because you're an IE6 luser, I suggest you download firefox 2.0.0.20
(at least it will render most web sites much more correctly vs IE6).
Get the browser-agent changer add-on to make it look like it's actually
version 3 - that way you won't even get the youtube error messages.

That would be a foolish thing to do and is left up to you.
We have a sharp sword ready instead to cut off your nose, if you keep
sticking it into our business.
You may have some valid points, but they are overshadowed by your undue
criticism.
No one here ever asked you for your opinion about WinME or IE6.
A little respect on your part would go a long way.
