Printing blank pages

I'm running Windows 98SE with a Lexmark Z45. The printer has started
to eject a blank page after appearing to print and making all the
right noises. I have followed all of Lexmark's troubleshooting
instructions (set as "default" printer, "pause printing" not checked,
cartridges installed correctly, connected to USB print port). I also
tried a different USB cable and Uninstalled/Reinstalled the printer
software.

Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

Richard

An old inkjet printer. Those things are practically disposable.

Time for a new printer. Try to get one with a parallel port instead of
USB. Fewer problems.

I agree but it had been working perfectly - and a previous problem was
fixed quickly by visiting this forum

Verify that there is nothing wrong with the printer. Connect the
printer to a PC running XP and see if it works any differently.

Thanks 98guy. It works with PC with XP! Any ideas why it might not work with
98?
