Some yes, some no. Keys and Value Names are not ever, AFAIK, however the
actual values, what's called Data in REGEDIT, often *are* case-sensitive (not to mention other format sensitivities.) Depends on the value. The Registry is a database. A Lookup Reference. When a program needs a value for some operation, it looks it up in the Registry (and often gets shunted to several places within the Registry before finally getting a return).
